Cornuda (TV)
Feasibility Study
The Al Cavallino restaurant is a historic building located in the centre of the town of Cornuda. Built in the early 1900s in a sober Liberty style, it is a part of the identity of the city itself, and at the time it was abandoned, was considered one of the most renowned inns in the entire area. The project therefore focuses on restoring the building to its original use as a hotel and restaurant, on preserving the outdoor façades; renovating the interiors for functional purposes and upgrading the HVAC and electrical systems; developing a critical reinterpretation of the Liberty-style vocabulary for the architecture of the interiors, based on the concept that the project should represent a further stratification in the evolution of a building's strong identity, and that it should effectively characterize the new activity that will take place there.
