The project tells a story, the story of a village in the middle of an enchanted forest where there lives a community of children, who gather under a large tree at the centre of the village itself. In the central, brightly lit and transparent courtyard, around the tree and under its canopy (of leaves, stars, or perhaps a large globe?) are the children and the animals drawn by the children (a dragon, a cuckoo bird, a piglet?). The entire building under the great canopy-roof gathers the children in a large protective embrace. The architecture thus borrows the role and evocative power of playing and storytelling at the centre of which is the child, his relationship to his teacher and to the other children (forming a group, sense of belonging and learning to share), the educational project and possibility of customization to fit the needs of the children. The architecture in fact organize a series of fluid and transparent indoor and outdoor spaces around the central courtyard, which are flexible and can be connected to fit educational needs within a rich system of relations and perceptive stimuli that support the child's free initiative and creativity.
