The project is for an architecture that pursues its identity by seeking continuity with the context and the memory of place, like a further stratification of the life and history of the community, with critical insight, reflecting on the spirit and concept of a Chalet, but without conflicting with the existing: we take Chalet to mean "wilderness", a privileged contact point with the uncontaminated nature of the mountain, spartan yet with a measured degree of comfort, as warm and safe as a home, where the food is good and the atmosphere is one of sharing and being together (typical of mountain life). Because it is located at an altitude that is inhabited year-round, we have chosen to reinterpret the typology of the traditional Tabià in a contemporary key, as an element of the territory and the human and natural landscape.
