Spresiano (TV)
Public urban regeneration plan - Approved
The project proposes the reconstruction of the urban and building fabric with the introduction onto the site of a town square and two buildings, while modifying the form of the lots and the circulation scheme at the same time. The large town square, which borrows the typological characteristics of the city squares in smaller Medieval towns of the Veneto region, with a shape based on a succession of perspective views and the use of typologies such as the portico, the loggia, the church square, etc…, connects and at the same time serves as a filter to the existing public areas, firmly establishing itself as the centre of public life in Spresiano. Under the square, the project calls for a single-level underground parking lot, whereas the buildings on the square contain residences and retail stores. The firm is also responsible for the city master plan.
