The design project intended to create a formally innovative typology of bank branch while maintaining the functions unchanged. The existing building was completely gutted inside leaving only the outer walls to create an open inner space into which volumes could be inserted. The main entrance leads directly into a double-height space from which the various elements of the composition may be seen: the sculptural metal stair and walkway, the cashiers' counters, the vertical blocks of offices, the meeting room and director's office block.
