The project redesigns the proportions and spatial relationships between the building volumes, following the theoretical premise of an architectural restoration that starts from the study of the original architectural text and its transformations over time, to propose not an alteration, but a reinterpretation using the critical and design tools specific to architecture. The project is to preserve the villa itself, to totally renovate the annex, and for the former barchessa wing to renovate the interiors alone, with the intent to propose new spatial and architectural relationships between these three elements.
